Renovation Updates

One of the biggest motivations for the property renovation was to elevate our guests experience so that every person who visits Leoness Cellars has The Perfect Wine Experience. 

We recognize that The Perfect Wine Experience is different for everyone so we have created dynamic spaces and offerings to suite the desires of all of our wine lovers.  We created the new membership program so that we could carefully craft an individualized wine experience for each guest. Whether you’re a local wine connoisseur that wants to wine and dine often at Leoness or you only make it out once a month or once a year there is a perfect membership level for you.

Here are some of the specifics of what has been completed so far –

The renovation of our Barrel Room Patio; including fresh cement floors, new market lights and improvements to lighting fixtures, plus the addition of lounge seating and fireplaces – creating the perfect cocktail reception space for events and weekend visits.

The seclusion and enhancements to our Ceremony Lawn; adding pavers to the entrance and fresh, new stucco walls that separate this special space from the public areas creating a grand entrance and private experience for every bride’s special day. 

The gently sloping walkway from the upper patio down to the tasting room and vineyards.  The new pathway creates a light and beautiful stroll down to the winery surrounded by French countryside inspired greenery and waterfalls offering new secluded spots to sit and enjoy your favorite wines with vineyard views.

The addition of our grand oak tree and reception circle with pavers creating ambiance, making for a great meeting point and shady area to sit and enjoy the day or wait to dine in The Restaurant. And of course, the special pathway to the restrooms separating the experience so guests no longer need to walk clear through The Restaurant to reach the restrooms.

Three new terrace patios including two private Members Only Terraces.  These Members Terraces have their own Wine Bar offering specially selected wines for Members, an exclusive light bite menu and table side service that members can enjoy in lounge seating with vineyard views. An additional Vineyard Terrace open to the public with an outdoor bar, shade trees and over 150 additional seats where live music will play on the weekends.

A completely redesigned restaurant space and experience.  With an open air, French countryside design The Restaurant at Leoness is taking on a whole new feel, offering both indoor and outdoor seating and large folding glass doors it is the perfect dining spot rain or shine.  The new experience includes a large exhibition kitchen where guests enjoy watching Chef Amanda and her team ‘whip up’ their meal, plus a new menu and heightened service standards promise the experience is going to be one guests won’t want to miss. 

Remodeled bathrooms to enhance the full guest experience.

One of the most anticipated additions following the renovation is the extended restaurant hours.  At completion of the renovation the restaurant will go to being open 7 days a week. Open Monday-Thursday 11:30a to 4:00p, Friday 11:30a to 9p, Saturday 11:00a to 9:00p and Sunday 11:30 to 6:00p

Guests can enjoy hosted tastings on the terraces or grab a bottle and find a secluded spot in the shade.   Special food pairings and barrel samples will now be offered to Members Terrace guests along with Valet Parking Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, included with Platinum Memberships. Members can enjoy their wine releases throughout the winery or redeem ones of their glasses. With additional lounge seating and tables across property there will be room for everyone to enjoy their Perfect Wine Experience.
